Q. What does BCD stand for? 

A. Behind Closed Doors. :)

Q. Does the BCD always take place in the same place? 

A. No! BCD can take place anywhere in Belgium. There are however some criteria that need to meet our requirements. The location must be easily accessible and offer free parking possibility. The environment must emanate some peace and tranquility associated to excellent catering and service. Quality prevails above all!

Q. I'm not a customer of EASI NV/SA. Am I also welcome to participate? 

A. Yes! Every IT Professional is more than welcome. Except "friendly competitors" and people who scour events looking for free giveaways. 

Q. Is BCD participation free of charge?

A. Yes! However a small side note... Registering, and not showing up without any (last-minute) notification is simply not done (this is called basic politeness and respect). In some particular cases, EASI NV/SA reserves the right to possibly charge a participation fee.

Q. What language is spoken during the BCD?

A. Since visitors often come from all over the country, sessions are mostly conducted in English. The spoken language between the sessions may vary. All our staff is perfectly multilingual. Dutch, French and English are no problem for us.  

Q. Is the event accessible by public transport?

A. Most locations where we organize our events are accessible by public transport.

Q. I can't participate at the edition of this BCD. When is the next BCD taking place? 

A. We organize 3 up to 4 times a year a BCD. We aim to organize 1 BCD per quarter. Keep in mind that the speakers and topics may vary.

Q. Do I have to be present the whole day?

A. We handle an open foyer concept... This means you can come and go according to your schedule's availability.

Q. Can I bring a colleague?

A. Yes! A colleague is always welcome. Per company up to max. 3 people from the same company are welcome. 

Q. I come from far and need an overnight stay?

A. Please contact us. We usually have agreements with various accomodations.

Q. Will I be able to network with like-minded people?

A. Yes! For sure! And we'll facilitate for you the networking part.

Q. Who am I going to meet there. 

A. Amongst various captains of industry, you'll meet CIO's, CISO's, IT Managers, engineering profiles, etc... from different companies coming from various industries. 

Q. I see various end customers amongst the speakers. What's the story? 

A. Alongside our speakers we have various customers who will share their own experience, knowledge as well as best practices. 

Q. BCD used to be a SWITCHPOINT NV/SA event. What's happening?
